For
screw conveyors used in metallurgy, mining and chemical industries, the shaft end gland is widely sealed with packing. Because the particle size of the coal powder is 200 mesh, it is in the form of fine powder and has a certain fluidity, so it is often because the shaft end of the screw conveyor head is not tightly sealed and many coal powders are leaked. Although asbestos packing, oil-impregnated asbestos rope and flexible graphite ring are also used as sealing packing, the leakage control effect is not ideal. Pulverized coal leaks around the equipment every day, which wastes and pollutes the environment and affects civilized production. In order to solve this problem, the following method hopes to be useful to you.

1.Lubricating grease must be added into the gland every 3-4 days, otherwise the coal powder will still be leaked or the coal powder will leak out
2.After each installation and disassembly, the gland bolts must be tightened for about one month after starting up, so that the packing and the shaft closely fit together. But it is not necessary to press too tightly, the gland bolts can be adjusted according to the actual situation.
